A SUMMER OF SPACE CRAFT AND SPORTS FUN IN HAVERING

The summer holidays are here and the Council has organised a range of activities for children aged three to 15.

Libraries across the borough will be hosting space craft and stories where children aged three to five can design their own lunar landscape and build aliens and space ships from craft and recycled materials including bottles, cardboard and foil.

Councillor Paul Rochford, Cabinet Member for Children and Learning, said:

"We have a vast range of fun activities lined up for children of all ages during the summer break.

"I hope that children from across the borough will get involved and try something new during the holidays."

Other library events include:

● Making jungle hand puppets at Elm Park Library on Thursday 5 August from 2pm to 3.30pm, for children aged five and over. Tickets £4.
