Darlington Borough Council’s Pedal Power guided cycle rides provide exciting days out this summer.

The next Pedal Power event, the Family Cycle Treasure Trail in South Park is on Sunday 22nd August. This is a free drop in session, so come along any time between 10.00am and 12.00 noon to take part in this treasure trail by bicycle around South Park… more in attached word document.

BIKES ROAR INTO MARKET SPECTACULAR

For the first time a bike show will take place as part of the Darlington Summer Market Spectacular.
The show, the first of its kinds in Darlington, will take place in Skinnergate on Sunday August 15 between 10am and 4pm.
Bikes from around the region will be on display. Judging of the bikes will be at 2pm with prizes given out at 3pm for categories including best bike in show and best paint work.
The show is part of the Summer Market Spectacular which runs from Thursday August 12 to Sunday August 15.

RUNNERS have until Wednesday 4th August to submit their entry form for this year’s Sherwoods Chevrolet Darlington 10KM Road Run and the 3KM Road Race for youngsters.
This year, for the first time, no entries will be taken on the day of the runs, Sunday 8th August.
Darlington town centre is getting ready to host the 23rd 10KM Road Race – The Sherwood’s Chevrolet Darlington 10KM, the 3KM Road Race for youngsters and the Family Fun Run on Sunday, August 8th, starting at 10.30am.
